What you may do with Manifold

Template licence

One licence covers one end product: a single website, yours or a client's, built from any one of the demos. Building several websites means one licence per website. You may modify the code without limit for that end product. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or share the source files, in whole or in part, and you may not use the demos to create a competing template or theme.

The brand names, logos and copy inside the demos are fictional placeholders written for the demo. Replace them with your own before launch.

Fonts

Every font in the package is self-hosted and redistributable. Unless noted otherwise in the demo's own LICENSE.md, the families below are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits bundling them with a template and using them on any website. Where a demo's original design used a commercial face that may not be redistributed, an open substitute was fitted and the demo's LICENSE.md says so.

Images, icons and video

Photographs, illustrations, icons and video clips are listed with their sources in each demo's LICENSE.md and, where the design has one, on its licence page. They are included for the demo and for your use in the end product under the terms their sources allow; where a source requires attribution, that page says how.

Software

Every demo depends on Next.js, React and React DOM (MIT), and on gray-matter (MIT) for content frontmatter; some also use next-mdx-remote (MPL-2.0) to render MDX bodies. The exact packages and versions are in each demo's package.json and lockfile, and their licences are listed in the demo's LICENSE.md.

This landing page

The showcase page at the root of the package (index.html) and its assets/ folder use Inter and Inter Tight by Rasmus Andersson (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The demo thumbnails are pictures of the demos themselves. Nothing on the landing page is required by any demo; it can be deleted once you have chosen one.
